ESPN’s much-loved “College GameDay” program will be on campus in Tuscaloosa on Saturday ahead of the top-five matchup between the Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs.
The move was widely expected as the clash between the two powerhouse programs is the 2020 college football season’s most anticipated game so far.
The college football experts that put together the Yellowhammer Power Poll have Alabama ranked No. 1 and Georgia No. 2, both a spot higher than the AP Poll has each team.
“Tuscaloosa, you’re up next!!” announced the official Twitter account for “College GameDay” on Sunday.

Alabama will be looking to tighten up its defense after giving up six touchdowns to Ole Miss on the way to a 63-48 victory on Saturday.
Georgia looks to spend the week preparing for the Tide’s ferocious offense after breezing past Tennessee 44-21 over the weekend.
ESPN’s choice to bring “College GameDay” to Tuscaloosa on Saturday makes Alabama the program’s most visited campus in its 27 years on the air. “GameDay” will have visited T-town 48 times compared to Ohio State’s 47.
Alabama, though, will be looking to catch up to Ohio State in wins with the “GameDay” crew on campus. The Tide have won 30 times when the program visited, whereas the Buckeyes have 33 wins when “GameDay” visits Columbus.
