ESPN’s College GameDay has now officially announced its first three matchups of the season, and it should not come as much of a surprise where the crew is headed for week three.
Nick Saban, Rece Davis, Pat McAfee, Desmond Howard and Kirk Herbstreit will be in Oxford, Mississippi for one of the most highly anticipated regular season matchups in the history of the SEC — Lane Kiffin will take his LSU Tigers into what just might be the most hostile environment anyone has ever seen.
Well … since you asked 😏

With the news that Oxford is the week three site, this marks three straight SEC road trips to start the season for the College GameDay crew. They’re headed to Baton Rouge in week one for Kiffin’s debut against LSU, followed by a trip to Austin in week two for Texas hosting Ohio State in a non-conference showdown.
The SEC is set for some massive matchups this season, and the first three weeks are just the beginning. With college football’s biggest pregame show in town for each of those games, the hype is only going to grow.
