Not that we didn’t already know it, but former Alabama head coach Nick Saban is clearly enjoying his retirement, with the latest example being an absolutely hilarious advertisement appearance for the vacation rental company VRBO:
Nick Saban has a new commercial with VRBO. it’s as hilarious as you would expect it to be pic.twitter.com/64dItbSvZN

Frequently with rental properties such as Airbnb and VRBO, the home is shared with the owner/host, and in the commercial, Saban is the owner while the company promotes itself as being against these practices.
Things open with a classically disappointed looking Saban telling his guests that check-in time is at 3:00 as they arrive at 2:55, implying that five minutes early is late.
Saban then goes over the “rule book” with his guests, a playbook sized binder including hilariously ridiculous rules such as ‘no showers longer than five minutes, no streaming, no games, no fun.’
Perhaps the best part of the commercial is Saban appearing on a riding lawnmower and cutting the grass as the family is trying to enjoy a quiet meal outdoors.
Things end on a wild note with the uncomfortable couple huddling in the corner of the hot tub as Saban stretches his arms out and tells them they only have 10 minutes because this is “daddy time in the tub.”
While Saban appearing in commercials is not anything new, having made Aflac commercials for years, perhaps more companies will hire the GOAT to be their spokesperson as he continues to display some serious acting chops.
