The Protect College Sports Act and getting it to a vote will be one of the top priorities for the U.S. Senate when they return from their August recess, and Nick Saban has praised the bipartisan bill from the start.
Saban, who has placed himself at the center of the fight to preserve the future of the sport since retiring as the head coach of Alabama, has now appeared in an advertisement that advocates for the PCSA.
While it has not officially aired, fans can expect to see it during week one of college football this upcoming weekend.

“College sports are built on tradition,” Saban says in the ad. “That tradition is worth defending. The Protect College Sports Act ends the NIL chaos in college athletics by protecting our student athletes and teams and safeguarding women sports and Olympic programs. Join the winning team today and help Congress protect this American tradition.”
Last month at the Nick Saban Legacy Awards, Saban once again praised the bill and said it could solve ‘80% of the problems‘ in the sport.
The ad, which is paid for by Saving College Sports, is 30 seconds long and will be on televisions across the South likely throughout the first couple of weeks of college football before the Senate returns on Monday, September 14.
