Former Auburn Tigers superstar pass rusher Derick Hall has agreed to a significant contract extension with the Seattle Seahawks after playing a huge role in helping them win the Super Bowl this past February.

According to a report from Adam Schefter, Hall’s deal extends him for three years and will pay him $42 million with $21 million of it being fully guaranteed to keep him with the team through the 2029 season.

In the Super Bowl, Hall had two sacks and a forced fumble in a dominating defensive performance that had Seattle completely shut down the New England Patriots offense.

Over a distinguished four-year career on The Plains, Hall racked up 19.5 sacks to become a second round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, and through his three-year career so far has established himself as a key piece of one of the best defenses in football with Seattle.

As he continues to ascend and now getting paid like one of the better young pass rushers in the league, Auburn fans will continue to root him on and cheer for him from all the way across the country.
