College football season is coming and will be here before fans know it, and this week presented a huge piece of news to fans who are looking to travel to games, especially in the Yellowhammer State.

With SEC Spring Meetings going on in Destin as the kickoff to summer and the final stretch ahead of the 2026 season, the game times for the first three weeks of the season in the conference were revealed, and that included the Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers.

For Alabama, the first game of the season against Eastern Carolina was already set for 11:00 a.m. CST, but now weeks two and three were revealed as well with one game on the road and one at home.

Week two, which is going to be played in Lexington against the Kentucky Wildcats, will be played at 2:30 p.m. CST (3:30 p.m. local time in Kentucky). In week three, with the Tide looking for revenge against the Florida State Seminoles, this game will also be played at 2:30 p.m. CST at Bryant-Denny Stadium, meaning fans will have to await the matchup for the first night game of the season.

Auburn, on the other hand, will be facing Baylor in a neutral site game in Atlanta at 2:30 p.m. CST to start the season, with two showdowns under the lights at Jordan-Hare Stadium the following two games.

Facing Southern Miss in week two, the Tigers will begin at 6:30 in the first official home game of the Alex Golesh era, but what will be extremely exciting is the week three showdown against the Florida Gators as the first conference game of the season.

Adding another layer of intrigue to Auburn’s coaching search, Golesh and fellow Tigers candidate Jon Sumrall, now Florida’s head coach after leading Troy, will meet under the lights at 6 p.m. CST.

It should be a great first month of football in the state, and it sounds like both fanbases have a ton to look forward to.
