Lane Kiffin has been just about everywhere this season when it comes to the college football media landscape.
Coming off the wildest coaching search we have ever seen, the now LSU Tigers head coach is ready to roll for his first season in Baton Rouge, but that has not stopped him from having a sense of humor. Kiffin poked a little fun at himself in the latest edition of the iconic Dr Pepper Fansville advertisement.

“Illegal Lane Change”

In the ad, Kiffin is pulled over by a state trooper and told he made an “Illegal LANE change,” at which point he simply rolls up his window and dismisses the officer. A clever play on words and a nod, of course, to Kiffin making the switch from Ole Miss to a hated rival in LSU.
When the Rebels host the Tigers in week three, Kiffin may just be walking into the most bitter road environment that any coach ever has, but clearly, he’s able to have fun with it rather than panic.
Count on this commercial hitting your screens often this fall, especially during various SEC showdowns.
