College GameDay arrived to Tuscaloosa on Saturday morning for the biggest matchup of the season between the Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs, and the Saturday morning tradition certainly did not disappoint.
Excitement for the show reached a fever pitch among Alabama fans on Friday as it was announced that Nick Saban’s wife, the iconic Ms. Terry, would be joining her husband on the desk as the celebrity picker for the week.
When it came time to actually picking the games, nobody on the desk wanted to pick against the Tide, and the entire crew including Coach Saban and Ms. Terry announced a decisive Alabama pick to roaring applause.

Pat McAfee stood up on the desk and led a Roll Tide cheer, while Lee Corso put on the Big Al mascot head:

It was a phenomenal ending to a phenomenal morning in Tuscaloosa for Tide fans both in the city and around the country.
Of course, fans will now have to hope that no bad luck arises from a unanimous selection against the Bulldogs as is sometimes the case. Nonetheless, a great morning is leading right into a great day of college football across the South.
