Look: Alabama and Auburn team photos give first glimpse at squads this year

The Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers have each had official team picture day, an event fans look forward to seeing the shots from every year.

Both programs opted for the old school stadium traditional look, stacked up in a section with their coaching staff gathered around them. Auburn — in their first photo with new head coach Alex Golesh — went with a more regimented and organized look, perfectly in line in a military-like fashion and ordered numerically in each row.

Alabama, meanwhile, was a little bit looser. There was no rhyme or reason to the way the players were seated, and the coaching staff was circled around players, with Kalen DeBoer in the front row sporting a sharp looking white polo and the classic vintage Block A Alabama logo.

It’s a huge year for both teams for very different reasons, and the surfacing of team pictures is just the latest sign that fans are very close to the start of the season.

Anticipation in the Yellowhammer State is as high as it’s ever been for toe to hit leather on the gridiron, and it won’t be much longer until that happens.
