One of the most influential and longest-standing cattle associations in the United States endorsed Caroleene Dobson in her bid for the GOP nomination to Alabama’s newly drawn Second Congressional District.
The Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association was established in 1877 and today advocates for the interests of more than 26,000 beef cattle operations, ranching families, and businesses.
“The Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association PAC is proud to endorse Caroleene Dobson for Alabama’s Second Congressional District. Dobson supports ranchers and landowners and will represent them and their interests well when elected,” said Arthur Uhl III, co-chair of the group’s political action committee.

Dobson, who grew up on her family’s cattle farm, said she’s deeply honored, and shared thanks to the cattle association — while drawing a contrast between herself and opponents.
“It is an honor to receive this endorsement from TSCRA, a group that fights at the forefront of agricultural advocacy,” she said. “I am the only candidate in this race who has seen firsthand the challenges that our farmers, ranchers, and landowners face daily. As your representative for Alabama’s Second Congressional District, I will take this experience and be a staunch defender of our agricultural community.”
