Fyffe’s Anderson suffers season-ending injury

Fyffe’s’ standout running back, Logan Anderson, will miss the remainder of the season following an ACL injury suffered during the opening round of the playoffs matchup against Ohatchee last week.

The four-star Clemson commit’s ACL injury shadowed the 66-30 win over Ohatchee. Anderson opened the game with a 42-yard touchdown run.

Anderson’s injury is the second of the 2024 campaign. Early in the season, he suffered an injury against Pisgah that took him out for three games.

Per reports, Anderson was scheduled for knee-repairing surgery on Monday.

This is not the first time the 6-foot-2 standout has battled through injury. Anderson tore his ACL and MCL in the 2022 semifinals against Pisgah. However, he returned for the 2023 season and set a Fyffe Football Program record rushing for 2,864 yards, leading the Red Devils to another state title.

Anderson recorded 1,273 yards on 91 carries and 19 touchdowns to end his senior year. This summer, he committed to playing football at Clemson University after receiving multiple offers from universities across the country. He is scheduled to join the Tigers in 2025.
