Auburn fans get back-to-back night games at Jordan-Hare to open Alex Golesh era

The Auburn Tigers are going to have two straight games under the lights at Jordan-Hare early in the season.

While it was already known the week three showdown against the Florida Gators was going to be a night game, week two’s kickoff time hosting Southern Miss was also revealed, and fans get the lucky draw of kicking that one off at 6:45 p.m. CST as well.

The opener against Baylor, which was moved from The Plains to Atlanta, is going to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CST in Mercedes-Benz Stadium, but after so much fury from the fanbase at losing a home game, back-to-back night games should ease that pain a little bit.

When the Tigers take the field against the Golden Eagles, it will be the first home game of the Alex Golesh era and his first chance to introduce a new and exciting brand of football to the loyal fans in Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Now, fans can start planning their days for those first two home games and know that it will be a long day of tailgating on campus before storming the gates at Jordan-Hare.
