ALEA vying for America’s Best-Looking Cruiser

The nation’s best-looking police vehicle may be cruising Alabama, if the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency wins a nationwide vote.

ALEA is taking part in the 10th annual America’s Best-Looking Cruiser Contest. The competition, hosted by the American Association of State Troopers, pits highway patrol and state police organizations against one another for the coveted prize of “Best Looking Cruiser.” The winner will be featured in the association’s 2024 calendar.

In last year’s contest, ALEA finished seventh to earn a spot in this year’s calendar.

With the theme this year “Parked in Paradise,” it was only suitable for ALEA to have a beach-themed photo. So, a Marine Patrol Division Ford F-250s was photographed on a Gulf beach with a helicopter hovering in the background.

The voting will be tabulated through SurveyMonkey. There is also a link on the troopers’ association Facebook page. Voting closes at 11 a.m. July 31.
