A Mobile woman was killed, and five other people were injured after two boats collided Saturday night on the Intra-Coastal Waterway near Wolf Bay in Baldwin County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

ALEA said the crash happened at approximately 8:10 p.m. Saturday when a 27-foot 2024 Albury Brothers vessel collided with a 23-foot 2013 Key West vessel.

Kristin Delaney, 46, of Mobile, was a passenger aboard the Albury Brothers vessel. She was critically injured in the collision and transported to South Baldwin Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Brooks Delaney, 51, of Fairhope, who was also a passenger on the Albury Brothers vessel, was injured and transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, for treatment.

ALEA identified the operator of the Albury Brothers vessel as Drew Delaney, 49, of Mobile. Including the operator, there were eight people aboard the vessel at the time of the crash.

The Key West vessel was operated by Cameron Neil, 32, of Houma, Louisiana. Neil was injured in the collision and transported to Sacred Heart Hospital for treatment.

ALEA also identified three injured passengers aboard the Key West vessel as Talyn Faulkner, 25, of Raceland, Louisiana; John Lyle, 28, of Houma, Louisiana; and Rayford Reeves, 34, of Schriever, Louisiana. Including the operator, there were eight people aboard the Key West vessel.

According to ALEA, everyone involved who was not injured, along with both vessels, was transported to The Wharf docks in Orange Beach following the crash.

The collision occurred on the Intra-Coastal Waterway near Wolf Bay in Baldwin County. ALEA’s Marine Patrol Division is continuing to investigate the incident, and no additional information has been released.
