(Video above: Hyundai communicates message to space)
MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Korean Car maker Hyundai, which operates a plant near Montgomery, Alabama, has released a new video featuring a fleet of its luxury Genesis sedans artfully tracing a message so large it can be seen from space.
In the four-minute video above, a team from Hyundai choreographs a message to International Space Station Commander Terry Virts from his daughter, Stephanie.
The team of filmmakers and 11 Hyundai Genesis sedans fitted with special, studded tires, took three days to transcribe the message “Steph ❤s You!” into the dessert about 2.5 hours north of Las Vegas, Nevada.
The message covers two square miles, and as we see in the video, actually can be seen from space, earning it a Guinness World Record for “largest tire track image.”
