WATCH: Former Alabama star Terrion Arnold reacts to best friend Jalen Milroe being drafted

The Alabama Crimson Tide has seen yet another one of its quarterbacks drafted to the next level over the weekend.

With the No. 92 overall selection of the third round of the NFL Draft on Friday night, the Seattle Seahawks selected Jalen Milroe, who will now have a chance to sit and develop for a couple of years before trying to become the starter.

While Milroe himself and Tide fans around the country were thrilled for the former electric Alabama star, there was perhaps no one happier than current Detroit Lions and former Alabama cornerback Terrion Arnold.

Milroe and Arnold — who are each credited with bringing the iconic ‘LANK’ phrase to the program — are best friends and still remain close even after Arnold left.

Arnold was being interviewed by ESPN radio when Milroe was drafted and went absolutely crazy in a video that will go down in Tide history:

“Oh my god!” Arnold said while beginning to tear up. “I’m so happy for my guy! He deserves this, everything he’s been through, this ain’t nothing but God!”

Arnold and Milroe could get the chance to face off later as NFL adversaries, an opportunity each hyper competitive player would relish.

For now though, Arnold is just thrilled for his friend.
