‘Tough Choices’: Caroleene Dobson’s first TV ad begins airing across 2nd District

Caroleene Dobson, Republican nominee for Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District, released her first-ever campaign television commercial Friday.

Dobson draws attention to the economic challenges Americans are facing across the state and nation.

“People that I meet in every city, town, and crossroads across the district tell me they are struggling with the high cost of groceries and runaway inflation that Shomari Figures and his Washington insiders helped create,” Dobson said in announcing the new media blitz. “It is important that this first commercial of the 2024 general election cycle outlines my determination to end inflation and return the cost of food and other essentials to levels that everyone can afford.”

“Prices keep rising forcing Alabama families to make tough choices. Washington insiders just don’t get it,” Dobson says in the commercial. “Trying to tax and spend their way out of problems they created all while driving up prices everywhere.”

“Growing up on a farm, we worked all day and had to stay on budget. That’s no longer possible for hardworking families.”

The production cost and ad buy is being split between Dobson’s campaign and the National Republican Congressional Committee, which has already named her to its high-profile “Young Guns” program.
