‘The Socialist Left has a SERIOUS mental illness’: Tuberville slams poll showing many Dems want Trump out by military coup

U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) says the socialist left has gone off the rails when it comes to President Donald Trump.

Tuberville, the Republican nominee for Alabama Governor, reacted to a poll by the Center for Strategic Politics, showing that a plurality of Democrats want Trump to leave office before the end of his term, including by military coup or death by natural causes.

“We polled five routes for Trump to leave office before the end of his term,” the group posted on X. “A plurality of Dems support four of them, including a military coup and death by natural causes. The only one underwater, an assassination, is still supported by 29%.”

Tuberville said this proves the craziness of the radical left.

“The Socialist Left has a SERIOUS mental illness,” Tuberville said. “32% of Democrats support the assassination of the President. 55% support him dying in his sleep. 59% support a military coup. This is not about politics anymore. It’s about SANITY vs INSANITY.”

This isn’t the first time the senator has blasted the rise of the radical left in the opposing party. Last year he blamed the Democrats for wanting to shut the government down just to oppose the President.

“Democrats will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to stall President Trump’s agenda,” Tuberville said at the time. “Make no mistake—if the government shuts down, it will be the DEMOCRATS’ FAULT.”
