More than 30 mayors from across Alabama have endorsed Secretary of State Wes Allen in his campaign for lieutenant governor ahead of the May 19 Republican primary.
“I am honored to have the support of mayors from across the state,” Allen said. “Mayors want what is best for their municipalities, for their state and for their country. They know that I will work hard each and every day as Lt. Governor to put Alabama first.”

Allen is running in a seven-way Republican primary for Lt. Governor against Alabama Ag Commissioner Rick Pate, former Alabama Republican Party Chairman John Wahl, Pat Bishop, George Childress, Stewart Hill Tankersley, and Nicole Jones Wadsworth.
The Republican primary election will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
