Jalen Hurts has been as classy as they come since his time at Alabama, and it seems like a big contract, a Super Bowl MVP award and immense professional success have done nothing to change that fact.
While speaking ahead of the official premiere for the six-part ESPN “SABAN” documentary last week, Nick’s wife Miss Terry revealed that Hurts sent the Sabans flowers and a handwritten note thanking them for everything they did for his career, and she even read some of the note as well.

“Coach Saban, thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your story,” she read. “From your phone call in Philly to my father’s office in 2015, I knew I was starting a journey that would be unprecedented by following your leadership. I’m honored to share a small moment with you and Miss Terry, congratulations on your premiere. Sending my love, Jalen Hurts.”
If it’s not clear, the Sabans made such an impact on so many over the years, and Hurts is certainly one of their all-time favorites for the resilience he showed throughout his career.
Part One of the ESPN documentary premiered on Thursday night and all parts are now streaming through the ESPN app.
