The Alabama Crimson Tide is set to play perhaps its biggest game of the season this week as the Georgia Bulldogs come to town with both teams at 5-0. And, to the surprise of few, College GameDay will be in town, too.
Making the announcement over the weekend following the Tide’s big win over Mississippi State and Georgia’s victory over Vanderbilt, ESPN returns a desk consisting of Pat McAfee, Kirk Herbstreit, Nick Saban, Desmond Howard and Rece Davis to Tuscaloosa.

There was really no question as to whether this was going to be the case, but with Alabama and Georgia both hitting their stride and looking like two national title contenders, there’s even more juice for this matchup with GameDay in town.
As for who the guest picker will be remains to be seen, but without a doubt, the crowd on The Quad will bring it and show the rest of the country where the best environment to watch college football is.
