Kiffin tells McElroy to stop spewing ‘rat poison’ after huge Ole Miss win over Georgia

The Ole Miss Rebels earned the biggest win of the Lane Kiffin era over the weekend with a massive 28-10 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs in Oxford on Saturday afternoon to keep their playoff hopes alive and put themselves in what could be prime position to make the program’s first-ever SEC Championship game.

Despite the hype surrounding Kiffin’s program, he’s still doing his best to apply the lessons he learned from Nick Saban and keep his players focused on the goals at hand, aka staying away from ‘rat poison.’

Former Alabama quarterback and current SEC Network analyst Greg McElroy dropped a video on his X account praising Kiffin’s team and saying that this is not a team anyone should want to face come playoff time, and the head coach responded in the only way he knows how:

The Rebels will have a much deserved bye week before they head down to Gainesville to take on Florida and wrap up with regular season with an Egg Bowl rivalry matchup where they will host Mississippi State.

Keep a close eye on Ole Miss here down the stretch, just don’t try to feed them rat poison.
