It’s been a warm start to the fall in the state of Alabama, which has led to some steamy afternoons here at the start of college football season.
Saturday’s game for the Alabama Crimson Tide though against the Florida State Seminoles has a chance to be the warmest in Bryant-Denny Stadium history. According to a post from James Spann on X, the temperature reaching over 100 degrees for the 2:30 p.m. CST kickoff in Tuscaloosa — which it is expected to potentially do — would push the game over the edge from the record-setting heat two weeks ago against East Carolina.

Unlike the East Carolina opening game though, temperatures will likely cool down in the second half as the sun starts to go down, however at kickoff would certainly be the heat of the day for Crimson Tide fans who have been tailgating all day on The Quad.
If you are headed to Tuscaloosa this weekend, be sure to hydrate and take precautions as well as using sunscreen and trying to stay out of direct exposure to the sun with things like hats and sunglasses.
