The weather is starting to cool down in the South, which means that college football is starting to heat up, and the action does not stop after a huge week three in the SEC.

With ranked matchups all across the country – and especially the conference – folks are going to be tuned in all day on Saturday from sunup to sundown. Both the Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers have huge games against South Carolina and Vanderbilt at home in a big day for the Yellowhammer State, but the SEC as a whole has a huge day outside of the state.

Here are four games from right within the conference you need to have an eye on this weekend.

No. 1 Texas @ No. 14 Tennessee: 11:00 a.m. CST

The Longhorns take their fresh No. 1 ranking just two weeks removed from the incredible comeback victory over Ohio State on the road for the first time in one of the toughest environments in college football at Neyland Stadium. The Volunteers have not really been tested much to this point and answer Arch Manning with a true freshman budding star of their own in Faizon Brandon at quarterback.

Texas is favored by less than a touchdown and the Vols are looking to show they are very much a contender in the conference. A Tennessee win would really shake things up in the SEC, and they have a legitimate shot at pulling off the upset.

Oklahoma @ No. 2 Georgia: 2:30 p.m. CST

The Sooners season is not going how anyone in Norman had planned, struggling on offense to throw or run the ball with any kind of success. Still, they come into Athens with one of the best defenses in the country led by head coach Brent Venables, and they are absolutely capable of giving the Dawgs a hard fight.

Georgia is favored by around two touchdowns, so an Oklahoma win would be a major shock, but this is still a game you must have an eye on if it’s close in the second half.

No. 4 Ole Miss @ No. 21 Florida: 2:30 p.m. CST

The Rebels head to Gainesville coming off perhaps the most emotional win in the history of the sport last week over LSU, and many think they are due for a letdown. The Gators are actually favored in this one by around a field goal coming off their physical domination last week on the road against Auburn, and The Swamp is set for its biggest home game in years.

Florida can bring one of the best home field advantages in the nation when the Gators have it going, and with head coach Jon Sumrall off to a great start, the venue will be absolutely rocking. This is the game of the week in the conference and could vault the winner to an inside track at getting to the SEC Championship.

No. 23 Texas A&M @ No. 10 LSU: 6:30 p.m. CST

The Aggies are coming off a brutal upset last week at home at the hands of Kentucky, and the Tigers are coming off the defeat against Ole Miss hungry to make a statement that they are still the team to beat in this conference. LSU is favored by less than 10 points in a game which the loser could be realistically close to eliminated from College Football Playoff contention taking their second loss before the month of October.

The Tigers have a huge opportunity this week to look impressive and make everyone forget about the Ole Miss defeat and get back on track, time will tell if Lane Kiffin is able to do it.
