With the return of College GameDay to Tuscaloosa and mass excitement for Alabama vs. Georgia, everyone was excited to find out who the guest picker would be and whether it could be a former player.

As it turns out, legendary Heisman winner Bryce Young will be the celebrity GameDay picker for the event, which has been moved inside to Coleman Coliseum due to the severe weather hitting the state.

Alabama Athletics provided some updated information with the event now moving inside, including no overnight camping and what time fans can get to the coliseum to line up.

“Due to the forecasted inclement weather on Saturday morning, ESPN’s College GameDay will now broadcast live from Coleman Coliseum. The show will air from 8-11 a.m. CT on ESPN, ESPNU, Disney+ and the ESPN App,” the update said, as well as providing a bulleted info list:

  • No overnight camping will be allowed
  • Fans may start lining up at the north and east doors at 5:15 a.m. CT
  • North and east doors will open at 5:30 a.m. CT
  • Raffle tickets for Pat McAfee’s “Kicking is Easy” Contest will be distributed evenly at both entrances. Raffle tickets will not be distributed prior to 5:15 a.m.
  • Only clear bags will be permitted inside and will be inspected upon entry

While it may look a little bit different, GameDay is very much on and will feature one of the greatest players to ever step foot in Tuscaloosa.
