7. Twitter CEO Elon Musk has challenged Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg to a cage match and, for some reason, Zuckerberg has replied, “send me location.” According to “The Verge,” Zuckerberg is serious. Do it. Do it now.
6. U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) once again embarrassed his Democrat colleagues, again, as they attempted to get around his hold on Department of Defense promotions over the Pentagon’s illegal abortion policy.
5. While 5 people are potentially dying or dead on the floor of a deep dark ocean, the American media is covering the super important angles of the story, including diversity hires, political donations, and the fact that the stepson of one of the people on the submarine went to a Blink 182 concert and flirting with an OnlyFans girl.
4. Absurd comments abound in a hearing in the U.S. Senate on new LGBTQ legislation that covered issues from “gender-affirming care” to sports. 3. U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) hilariously referred to himself as a “truth teller” before he was censured by the U.S. House of Representatives 213-209 for his role in misleading the American people during the Trump-Russia hoax hysteria. Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) also accused Republicans of being “miserable” and puppets of former President Donald Trump, another conspiracy.
2. Gov. Kay Ivey has still not called a special session on redistricting after a court ruled the plan needs to be passed by July 21 but the committee to deal with this has been set up and public hearings are now planned. While the Legislature is not in session, be assured that the plan is being worked on.
1. U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) wondered if Durham was like the Washington Generals and paid to lose because they totally failed. U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) called out the fact that some agents were left in the dark about how politicized it all was from the beginning and were rightly angered by it once they were finally told.
