7 Things: 6 charged in Dadeville shooting; No. 2 AL Democrat wants leniency for killers; and more …

7. Former President Donald Trump has now come out against any action from Congress on abortion, errantly assuming that the Dobbs decision said abortion is solely up to the states, that is not true.  It appears that President Donald Trump’s policy statements can best be summed up by saying, “If DeSantis is for it, then Trump is against it.”

6. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and President Joe Biden were both involved in the crafting of the letter signed by 50-plus members of the intelligence community claiming the Hunter Biden laptop news could be Russian misinformation. This is according to an ex-CIA official Michael Morell, a former Deputy Director of the CIA, one of the signatories who has testified to the House Judiciary Committee.

5. According to a report in the New York Post, the person the IRS whistleblower claims has lied before Congress about the investigation into Joe Biden’s crackhead son, Hunter Biden, is none other than Attorney General Merrick Garland.

4. Connor Sturgeon, the monster who killed 5 at a Louisville bank that he was being fired from, laid out his reasonings in a manifest that was made public. The disturbing manifesto makes the case that it is too easy to buy a gun in Kentucky and highlights his mental health concerns.

3. The Alabama Legislature has now passed Gov. Kay Ivey’s economic incentive “Game Plan.” The incentive side of this was a no-brainer, Alabama has both feet in the game of competing to bring businesses to the state but the transparency piece is important for knowing how this works.

2. The number of arrested people in the Sweet 16 party shooting in Dadeville is now up to 6. Willie George Brown Jr., age 19; Johnny Letron Brown, 20; and a 15-year-old boy are the latest to be charged with 4 counts of reckless murder, with more charges on the way. More information should come out when hearings start soon but District Attorney Mike Segrest has said, “Obviously with the number of victims, it was very complicated to reconstruct.”

1. Strangely, Tabitha Isner, who has lost an election for Congress and now serves as the No. 2 Democrat in the state, is on record suggesting the murderers in Dadeville should not be treated as adults and it is hypocrisy to consider those murdered to be minors while charging the murderers as adults.
