Sloss Tech, the Southeast’s leading technology and innovation conference, has announced Zack Kass, advisor, futurist, and former Head of Go-To-Market at OpenAI, as one of the featured keynote speakers for its 2025 event. Scheduled for June 25-27 in downtown Birmingham, the conference has now opened general admission ticket sales.
Kass, known for his thought leadership in applied artificial intelligence, previously led sales, partnerships, and customer success teams at OpenAI. His work helped bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and real-world business applications. Currently serving as an Executive-in-Residence at the University of Virginia, Kass focuses on the socio-economic impact of the AI revolution. He also advises Fortune 1000 companies, including Coca-Cola, Morgan Stanley, and Amgen, on navigating the complexities of the evolving AI landscape. His insights have been featured in outlets such as Fortune, Newsweek, Entrepreneur, AdAge, and Business Insider.

Anticipating high demand after six consecutive years of sold-out conferences, Sloss Tech 2025 organizers have also reaffirmed their commitment to supporting emerging talent through the Next In Tech program. The initiative reserves 200 tickets for students and early-career professionals and provides specialized access to networking opportunities and industry insights.

General admission tickets are available for $299 and include access to all keynotes, panels, and networking events, as well as complimentary snacks and refreshments. VIP packages, priced at $499, offer additional benefits such as exclusive lounge access, a reception with speakers and industry leaders, early sign-ups for limited-capacity sessions, and a Sloss Tech swag bag. VIP attendees will also receive a complimentary ticket to ShinDigital, the official afterparty and concert at Workplay.
