Yellowhammer News welcomes new contributing writer

Washington, D.C.-based writer Aaron Credeur, a graduate of the University of Dallas and former editor of the school’s newspaper, has joined the growing staff of Yellowhammer News as its latest contributing writer.

“Aaron is devoted to the ideals of journalism and he learned the craft from some of the best instructors in the business,” said the site’s editor, J. Pepper Bryars. “We’re fortunate to have him writing for Yellowhammer.”

Credeur, a native of Lafayette, La., will cover stories ranging from congressional issues to matters that impact our faith and culture.

He previously worked as a communications and administrative coordinator for Faith Camp at Family Missions Company and has been featured as commentary contributor of the year at The University News. He has written on a variety of national topics, including the 2016 presidential election, the state of liberal arts in higher education, the controversy of psychologists involved in torture programs and Islamic terrorism.

Credeur is a Sumners Foundation Scholar for political science and his senior thesis at the University of Dallas focused on the advent of totalitarianism and individualism within foreign regimes and how it is presented in literature.
