WATCH: Alabama wide receiver commit makes unreal catch

The Alabama Crimson Tide is moving into year two of the Kalen DeBoer era. In order to replicate some of the success they saw under Nick Saban, it’s going to still take the same thing it always did: talented players.

In DeBoer’s first full recruiting class — the 2025 cycle — we already know all about star quarterback and gunslinger of the future for the Tide in Keelon Russell. But when it comes to who Russell will be throwing to, perhaps Alabama fans need to familiarize themselves with Lotzeir Brooks.

The college football page ‘CFBAlerts’ shared a video on Instagram of Brooks showing off his hops and going up to make a ridiculous catch which you can view here:

You wouldn’t know it by watching the video, but Brooks is not your typical Texas or Florida or in-state five-star Blue Chip recruit. A four-star from Millville, New Jersey, Brooks is rated by 247 as just the No. 60 wide receiver in the nation for the class of 2025.

For obvious reasons however, DeBoer clearly likes what he saw on tape from the prospect and believes he could be the kind of fit to help take the Crimson Tide offense to the next level.

Brooks may not become a starter right away, but he’s a name Alabama fans should be keeping their eye on over the next year or two.
