The Alabama Crimson Tide has named its team captains for the 2026 season, and it’s three fan favorites who will be leading the locker room by voice and example this season.

As first reported by Yea Alabama, junior wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams, junior cornerback Zabien Brown and senior safety Bray Hubbard all will be serving as the team captains this season. They’ll be wearing the ‘C’ on their jerseys, along with eventually getting to put their hand and cleat prints on the sidewalk of Denny Chimes.

Interestingly, this is the first season of the Kalen DeBoer era where Alabama is going with just three captains, opting for four both in 2024 (Jalen Milroe, Tyler Booker, Malachi Moore and Deontae Lawson) and 2025 (Ty Simpson, Parker Brailsford, Deontae Lawson and Tim Keenan III).

Brown and Hubbard are each coming off big seasons and are part of what might be the best secondary in college football. Coleman-Williams, who changed his name and number this offseason, is looking to rediscover the form he showed as a freshman in 2024 after a sophomore slump last season.

Clearly, all three guys have put in the work to where DeBoer feels comfortable making them captains, and time will tell what kind of season the trio is able to have with this newfound responsibility.
