Paul Finebaum unleashes on Dabo Swinney – ‘thin-skinned, spoiled brat’

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney made big headlines earlier this week when he went on a five-minute rant against a caller into Swinney’s radio show who questioned why the school pays him as much as they do while the team sits at a paltry 4-4 record.

The opinions on the Swinney rant were mixed and wide-ranging, from ‘Dabo was well within his rights to shut down the rude caller’ all the way to what Paul Finebaum said on 105.5 WNSP’s The Opening Kickoff this morning.

Finebaum called Swinney a “thin-skinned spoiled brat who has lost credibility around college football.”

“When you’re the face of a program, you don’t talk down to people, you don’t punch down. What he did was punch down. You see how insecure he is by reminding people of his success. Can you imagine Nick Saban getting into an argument with a caller on the radio about how many championships he has. I frankly am shocked,” Finebaum continued.

He also said that Dabo Swinney has lost his relevance in college football and he doesn’t believe Swinney will ever be relevant in college football again.
