Mike Rogers: Jerusalem should be ‘nervous’ over Biden ‘outsourcing’ Iran nuclear deal to Russia, China

Friday, U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Saks) sounded the alarm over President Joe Biden’s willingness to reenter into a nuclear arms deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Former President Donald Trump in 2018 pulled the United States from the 2015-negotiated nuclear agreement, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Fox News reports that U.S. officials are currently in talks with the extremist Middle Eastern theocracy, with a deal on the cusp of being reached. Russia and China are reportedly actively involved in mediating the new nuclear deal.

Rogers, lead Republican of the House Armed Services Committee, asserted that Biden was “outsourcing” the deal’s negotiations to two of the United States’ primary global adversaries.

“I’d be very nervous if I were Jerusalem,” advised Rogers. “Instead of turning Putin into an international pariah like President Biden promised, he is literally outsourcing our negotiations on a new Iran Nuclear Deal to Russia and China.”

Should a Biden-approved nuclear arms deal with Iran come to fruition, Rogers warned that the rogue Islamist nation could achieve its terroristic ambitions of seeing to the destruction of Israel.

“This deal will provide the world’s foremost state sponsor of terror, with billions in sanctions relief that they will use to fund terrorist proxies, produce advanced and long-range missiles, and pave the way to an Iranian nuclear weapon. In short, Biden’s deal will bring Iran closer to its stated goal of ‘wiping Israel off the map.’”
