Lisa Evans has been named chief executive officer of Bradford Health Services, a Birmingham-based substance use disorder treatment provider, the company announced. As a behavioral health industry veteran, Evans brings more than a decade of experience in leading growth and development initiatives across multi-state organizations, Bradford said in a news release.
“I am extremely pleased to have Lisa as a partner to drive Bradford’s growth and development strategies,” said Jon O’Shaughnessy, Bradford Health Services chairman of the board. “I am confident her focus on the patient experience will serve to differentiate Bradford’s offerings from those of our competitors.”
Evans most recently served as the corporate chief operating officer at Perimeter Healthcare, overseeing hospitals and facilities across Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas. Under her strategic guidance, the company achieved territory and financial growth, achieving revenue growth of nearly 20% during her five-year tenure.
“The depth of this team’s experience makes Bradford the industry leader in respecting and supporting those who suffer from the effects of addiction,” said Evans. “Assuming the lead for Bradford is an honor. We will continue to practice client focused treatment while innovating service delivery to address the needs of those who are struggling to access care.”
Prior to joining Perimeter, Evans served in executive roles for national healthcare organizations, including Universal Health Services, Strategic Behavioral Health, and Hospital Corporation of America.
Evans’s leadership extends beyond achieving financial success. Her dedication to high-quality patient care has earned her numerous accolades and awards, including the Arkansas Governor’s Award and being the first behavioral health CEO named to the Arkansas Hospital Association’s Board of Directors.
