U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) and U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Enterprise) are sounding the alarm against socialist policies that they believe are destroying Europe’s future.

France has been dealing with violent riots for weeks. The demonstrations started as student-led over classroom conditions, but eventually escalated into widespread riots involving a range of political and ideological factions across the country.

President Donald Trump said they were the result of the country’s open border policies.

“When you see burning steeples and raging fires in France,” Trump said, “just remember that is what the radical Democrats wanna do to America.”

French officials say that they have arrested over 2,500 people in connection with the demonstrations, along with implementing curfews.

Tuberville agreed with the President’s sentiments on the issue.

“Won’t be long before the Leftwing Media Machine rewrites these as ‘mostly peaceful protests.’ Europe is GONE. Americans need to WAKE UP,” Tuberville said on X. “We must DEPORT illegals and stop the spread of Socialism, or WE’RE NEXT.”

Moore, the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate, said America must learn the lesson from Europe’s failures.

“Republicans and @POTUS have been sounding the alarm about Europe’s future, immigration, and national identity,” Moore said. “Secure our borders. Enforce our laws. Protect our nation. We cannot ignore the lessons unfolding in Europe.”
