Every week during the football season, the head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide joins the radio program ‘Hey Coach’ live from Baumhower’s Victory Grill to talk about the upcoming game, his team, the opponent, and much more.
Each week, former head coach Nick Saban would give his ‘final word’ on the game before the team heads out for battle, and this tradition has extended into the new era with Kalen DeBoer delivering the final word ahead of one of the biggest games of his coaching career and one of the biggest regular season games in recent Alabama history:

“I hope the fans just understand that where we’re at right now, and how we got to this point, it’s not a finished product. But we are making great progress because of guys like this that believed in this place back in January and February,” DeBoer said while pointing at captain Tyler Booker. “We’re making that progress, we’re improving each and every day, and it’s gonna put us in a spot where we expect to step on the football field and be successful each and every Saturday, and that’s this Saturday.”

The Tide will host Georgia on Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. CST, and if DeBoer’s final word is any indication, the team is not backing down from the challenge and expect to be successful.
