AUBURN, Ala. — It’s become a beloved tradition for college football fans: We wake up early on the crisp fall Saturday mornings to read the comedic signs and watch the hilarious antics of the hosts of College GameDay as they discuss the weekend’s upcoming contests.
At the end of the program the hosts share their picks of who will win. The highlight of the whole affair, however, is when beloved commentator and notorious jokester Lee Corso chooses who he believes will win the game in the location where GameDay is broadcasting. Often after hemming and hawing over who he thinks will emerge victorious, Corso announces his decision by donning the headgear of the team’s mascot, and usually dancing a little jig.
There is one team, however, that Corso said Monday won’t allow him to wear the mascot’s head: Auburn University.
His solution? “So I’m not going to pick ’em.”
Lee Corso says Aubrun is the only school that doesn't allow him to put on their headgear. "So I'm not going to pick 'em"

Well then.
According to college football blog Saturday Down South, College GameDay has visited Auburn eight times since 1994, most recently on Nov. 30, 2013, for the Iron Bowl. The Tigers have also been one of the two teams featured on GameDay a total of 17 times since 1994.
College GameDay announced Monday its first broadcast of Fall 2015 would be at the University of Alabama vs. Wisconsin season opener in Fort Worth.
