Church of the Highlands to host Easter services across 26 campuses

Church of the Highlands is inviting communities across Alabama and Georgia to attend its Easter services, which will take place from Good Friday, April 18, through Easter Sunday, April 20.

The multi-campus church, based in Birmingham, will offer 120 services across its 26 locations. Each service will feature worship music and a message focused on hope, renewal, and the Christian belief in new life through Jesus Christ. Founding Pastor Chris Hodges will deliver the Easter message, and Lead Pastor Mark Pettus has extended an open invitation to anyone interested in attending.

“Easter is a reminder that no matter what we’ve walked through, Jesus offers us a fresh start and purpose,” Pettus said in a statement. “We believe this Easter can be the beginning of something new in your life.”

The church’s Easter programming includes special services for children from six weeks old through 5th grade. The “Highlands Kids” program offers age-specific activities, Bible stories, and games designed to make the Easter message accessible and enjoyable for younger attendees. First-time visitors can pre-register their children online to simplify the check-in process.

A notable milestone for the church this year is the grand opening of its new Opelika campus building on April 13. The facility will seat 800 people and includes dedicated spaces for children’s ministry, youth gatherings, small groups, and outreach efforts.
