Aloha Hospitality celebrates top team members with second Caribbean cruise

Aloha Hospitality, a well-known restaurant group based in Alabama, is honoring its top-performing team members with a second Caribbean cruise this year. The company’s top achievers from Grille, Wingfingers, Dauphin’s, and Las Floriditas will embark on a seven-day adventure in November after excelling in company-wide contests over eight weeks during the summer.

This unique reward program is part of Aloha Hospitality’s commitment to recognizing exceptional performance and fostering a positive work environment. CEO Bob Baumhower, a former NFL player, is a strong advocate of incentive-based rewards. “As a former NFL player and the son of successful salespeople, I firmly believe in rewarding a job well done,” said Baumhower. “Witnessing the excitement on our team members’ faces is what brings us the most joy. This industry has its challenges, and I am thrilled to reward those who go above and beyond.”

Aloha Hospitality’s incentive initiatives include numerous contests and bonus programs throughout the year for managers and hourly team members alike. One of the most eagerly anticipated rewards is the “Aloha Legendary Cruise,” a competitive program where winning team members can earn an all-expenses-paid Caribbean cruise. In February, the first 2023 cruise set sail from New Orleans to Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico. The November trip will take associates from Mobile to Cozumel and Belize aboard the Carnival Spirit.

Participants will enjoy a private cabin and access to all amenities on board, along with organized shore excursions that showcase the Caribbean’s beauty and culture. “This is a ‘true vacation’ and a well-deserved reward for all our winning teams’ hard work,” said Spencer Baumhower, President of Aloha Hospitality and son of Bob Baumhower. “It’s also a fantastic opportunity for team bonding, as many employees meet others from different locations for the first time.”

The November cruise recognizes employees who achieved top results in contests like the “Raise The Roof Contest” and “Shop Till’ You Drop Contest.” Baumhower’s, Dauphin’s, and Las Floriditas team members excelled in sales of specific menu items. At the same time, Wingfingers employees received high ratings from “Secret Shoppers” based on the quality of service they provided.

While the contests are rewarding and enjoyable, Bob Baumhower emphasizes that the primary goal is to enhance team skills and maintain Aloha Hospitality’s dedication to delivering memorable guest experiences. “The main priority for us as a company in these contests is to enhance the skills of our team members, ensuring we remain committed to providing every guest with a legendary experience,” he added.
