Alabama’s Kim Caudle Lewis nominated to TVA board

The White House this week announced that Huntsville’s Kim Caudle Lewis has been nominated by the president to the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) board of directors.

The nomination now awaits confirmation by the United States Senate.

Lewis, a 2020 Yellowhammer Woman of Impact, is the CEO of PROJECTYZ, Inc., a business that provides services and products in the areas of engineering, logistics, technical services, manufacturing and international military sales.

She leads a workforce that supports federal and commercial customers across several diverse subsidiaries and at locations around the world. Lewis has a 25-year career spanning business operations and management, technology and federal government contacting.

“It is an incredible honor to be nominated by President Biden,” Lewis said in a statement.

“Having lived in the Tennessee Valley all my life, TVA’s critical mission of harnessing the rich resources within the Tennessee Valley region to make life better for the residents has never been more important or relevant as it is today,” she continued. “The opportunity to make a positive difference and contribute to the overall strategy, policy and operations of TVA presents an extraordinary opportunity for all individuals under consideration. I am looking forward to participating in the US Senate confirmation process.”
