Oil neared $100 a barrel after Iran fired missiles at a U.S. base in Jordan that officials called “ineffective,” Houthis hit Saudi energy sites, and CENTCOM said American forces have destroyed 10 Iranian tankers while rejecting claims that Navy destroyers were struck, but the long-protracted conflict continues with no end in sight.
