7. NBA Hall of Famer, Auburn legend, and attention-starved sports commentator,Charles Barkley is being critical of spoiled Alabama football fans again and had thoughts on Auburn’s religious “scandal” and QB saying, “I’m all in on Coach Freeze. Now I will say this – if y’all gonna be down there baptizing people, please pray for better quarterback play.” In a political story, Barkley wasn’t recognized when praising Cassidy Hutchinson for changing her testimony before the Jan. 6 commission.
6. A concerned citizen and private investigator brought a book with overt sexuality and pornographic images to the attention of the entity in charge of curating books in the library at hand. Failed “journalist” Tim Lockette, also a visiting journalism professor at Jacksonville State University, dismissed concerns of woman without addressing the book, “It’s Perfectly Normal,” and addressed the issue of a woman being angered about pornographic material being available to kids by smearing her for getting fired because she wouldn’t get the vaccine.
5. U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) is a target of ire again because he is noting the obvious that the U.S. military is not an equal opportunity employer first and foremost in his announcement of opposition to the next Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Air Force Gen. Charles “CQ” Brown Jr. over his woke policies and misplaced focus. Tuberville told Bloomberg TV, “We’re looking for the best of the best to do whatever. We’re not looking for different groups, social justice groups. We don’t want to single-handedly destroy our military from within. We all need to be one. It’s like a football team I coached. You can’t have different groups. Everybody’s got to be together to win. There’s no second place in war.”
4. The special election Democrat primary runoff for Alabama House District 55 is between a black man and transgender and it could be a battle for the future of the Democratic Party. Travis Hendrix and Sylvia Swayne represent different wings of the Democratic Party with Hendrix getting the support of black leaders such as Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin and State Rep. Anthony Daniels (D-Huntsville) and Swayne getting support from the national media and the far left who want one of those “historic” firsts.
3. Much like her reaction to the original decision to redraw Alabama’s congressional district line, U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell (D-Birmingham) is apparently offering up a different reaction behind close doors than she is offering in public. On X, she tweeted “Another BIG win for Alabama’s Black voters!!! [3 black clapping hands emojis]” but privately she is not too happy that State Sen. Bobby Singleton (D-Greensboro) is preparing a primary challenge against her.
2. Illegal immigration becomes THE issue in regards to the government shutdown with U.S. Rep. Dale Strong (R-Monrovia) calling America the “dumping ground of the world.” U.S. Sen. Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) joined her U.S. Senate colleagues in calling for a solution to the border crisis to be included in a deal to keep the government open.

GOP debate wows dozens as Fox Business hosted a debate that lacked a frontrunner, who generally went unscathed, ignored the current president, and failed to deliver a substantive debate on the economy. The Univision anchor framed all of her questions through the lens of the left-wing media on issues of education, immigration, and health care.
