7. Gay pride month, which has been celebrated for a while in Alabama, continues to go on. The media seems surprised by this.
6. An ethics complaint has been filed against former U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Huntsville), which seems rather silly, as accusations are freely flowing in matters long out of the public’s concerns.
5. The GOP nomination battle will gain a few competitors this week as former Vice President Mike Pence and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie are getting in this week. Meanwhile, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley had an uneventful town hall on CNN Sunday night.
4. A small plane caused an alarm in Washington, D.C., the scrambled jets even created a sonic boom heard in the capital city as they went to intercept an unresponsive small plane which eventually crashed near George Washington National Forest in Virginia; 4 people were killed.
3. Some congressional Republicans will get the opportunity to see the document that has been requested from the FBI involving an alleged Joe Biden investigation. U.S. Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) is not happy about this, yet, he claims the form shows that there are questions “relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions” and that involves a $5 million payment from a foreign national.
2. U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) received death threats from a “veteran sniper” over his hold on mass approval of military promotions. There will be no calls for a recalibration on the demonization of the senator, in fact, aldotcom’s Pulitzer Prize-winning nepotism team of John Archibald and Ramsey Archibald just continue smearing him.
1.
