Breakfast at Hotel
Travel to the Kinneret- Sea of Galilee area
Church of the Beatitudes and Capernaum: We will be visiting the site of Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount and the small village on the shores of the Sea of Galilee where Jesus preached in the synagogue.
Sea of Galilee: The Kinneret, Israel’s primary water source, is receding because of years of drought. The Kinneret is of supreme strategic importance as it is the only fresh water lake in Israel. We will sail from the port of Tiberias to Ein Gev and hear from an expert on Israel’s water issues.
Lunch at Ein Gev
Meeting with Brigadier General Effi Eitam: Effi Eitam is a war hero, former Knesset member and government minister, and one of the founders of the National Religious Party. Eitam has been an outspoken advocate for Israel’s right for self-defense. A resident of the Golan Heights, Eitam is popular speaker in the United States and around the world on behalf of Israel.
Visit Lebanese Border: Here we will learn about the complexities of living near the border of Israel’s neighbors, Lebanon and Syria.
