VIDEO: Redistricting special session begins, 88% of voters think Ivey went far enough, media continues stocking Mo Brooks controversies and more on Alabama Politics This Week …

Radio talk show host Dale Jackson and political consultant Mecca Musick take you through Alabama’s biggest political stories, including:

— Will the special session on, mostly, redistricting be as non-controversial as it appears to be setting up to be?

— Will Governor Kay Ivey adjust her thinking on banning vaccine mandates by private businesses after the Alabama Republican Party released a poll showing 88% of GOP voters oppose them?

— How many times will the American media knowingly and falsely claim that U.S. Representative Mo Brooks (R-Huntsville) was involved in the planning of the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol?

Jackson and Musick are joined by al.com columnist Cameron Smith to get his thoughts on this week’s news.

Jackson closes the show with a “Parting Shot” directed at those who may lose their livelihoods over some of the various vaccine mandates and how it is not worth it.
