University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Business ranks among nation’s best business schools

The University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Business has once again been recognized as one of the nation’s best schools for business, according to U.S. News and World Report.

In the publication’s 2022 edition of its “Best Undergraduate Business Programs,” the university’s business school has earned the ranking of 30th among public institutions and 49th overall.

Additionally, the college’s accounting undergraduate program earned the ranking of 59th in the United States among all institutions, public and private.

UA’s Culverhouse College of Business tied with other nationally-respected programs, such as the University of California, San Diego, the University of Nebraska, the University of South Carolina and the University of Pittsburgh.

Dean Kay Palan, Culverhouse College of Business Dean, believes that the ranking underscores her belief that future college enrollees should consider the renowned school of business.

“These rankings illustrate how our College has continued to offer a consistently high-quality business education and at an exceptional value,” said Palan. “Now is a great time to look at Culverhouse.”

The announcement states that U.S. News & World Report’s undergraduate business programs rankings are based on surveys of deans and senior faculty members at peer institutions from 514 business programs. Other metrics considered in the publication’s rankings decision are faculty resources, institutional reputation, financial resources and student excellence.
