It has been quite the offseason for the Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball program.
Landing back essentially their entire core from last seasons first-ever Final Four team in school history along with adding some new pieces as well, Nate Oats and his staff put together a roster that is among the best in the nation.
Las Vegas is now starting to recognize the team being assembled in Tuscaloosa.
According to the latest odds by BetOnline, Alabama is now the betting favorite to win the national championship in 2024-25 at 8/1.

Connecticut, who Alabama lost to in the Final Four en route to the Huskies’ second-straight title, is the second biggest favorite at 9/1.
Kansas, which landed Crimson Tide transfer guard Rylan Griffen, is third at 10/1 while both Duke and Houston sit at 14/1.
The Crimson Tide still have a ton of work to do if they are to live up to the hype that’s being billed with them, but to see Alabama ahead of some of the biggest basketball titans in the sport is a welcome site that many thought would never be possible.
A very special season could potentially be brewing in Tuscaloosa.
