‘This entire Administration is nothing but activists’: Sen. Tuberville condemns HHS for celebrating ‘Pansexual Pride Day’

U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) criticized the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS) for celebrating “Pansexual and Panromantic Pride Day.”

HHS posted on their social media Sunday about it, saying, “Today on Pansexual and Panromantic Pride Day, everyone deserves to feel seen, respected and supported—no matter who they love. Create a world where everyone feels proud to be themselves!”

Tuberville responded to the post and used it as an example of why President-elect Donald Trump was elected to change things.

“This entire Administration is nothing but activists…not public servants,” Tuberville said. January 20 can’t get here soon enough.”

The senator has been a vocal critic against the direction President Joe Biden has taken the HHS, while also praising Trump’s pick to head the agency under his administration. Trump announced that he’s nominating Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be the new Secretary of HHS.

“RFK Jr. is an absolutely brilliant pick by President Trump,” Tuberville said about the pick last month. “No one has done more to expose corruption in big pharma and big food. Make America Healthy Again!”

Tuberville also questioned FDA Commissioner Robert Califf and Jim Jones during a Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee hearing last week. After the hearing, Tuberville commented on the failures of the Biden administration on health and expressed hope that Kennedy will come in and make changes.
