Roy Moore Pulls His “Smoke Wagon” at Last Night’s Campaign Rally

In a moment that would’ve made Tombstone’s Kurt Russell envious, Roy Moore “skinned his smoke wagon” at his big rally last night and reminded his supporters that he’s their huckleberry when it comes to the 2nd Amendment.

“This has been very hard for my wife and for myself,” Moore said. “We’ve had two or three months of negative ads that we couldn’t answer with money because we didn’t have any….Ads that were completely false–that I don’t believe in the Second Amendment,” Moore said.

At that moment, he reached for his right side and produced a compact concealed-carry revolver, at which point he said, “I believe in the Second Amendment,” before returning it to his hip to the delight of his supporters.

According to an August 4 article in Roll Call, Moore did the same thing at an earlier rally, pulling his wife’s pistol out of her purse to convince voters that he is pro-gun.

The NRA has endorsed Luther Strange instead of Roy Moore.

Christina Wilkie, a reporter for @TheHill and others tweeted the picture of Moore showing the crowd his firearm late last night.
