Rep. Jerry Carl: Biden is to blame for illegal immigrant murders

Jerry Carl

Since the first day of the Biden-Harris administration, illegal immigrants were given the green light to flood our country. I’ve been sounding the alarm the entire time because so many of these illegal immigrants are bringing drugs and violent crime into communities all over this country. The failure to secure our border isn’t just affecting southern border states anymore, and every state has now become a border state.

You likely recognize the names Laken Riley, Lizbeth Medina, Jocelyn Nungaray, and Rachel Morin. All four were law-abiding Americans who have been allegedly killed at the hands of illegal immigrants. These were lives that should have never been lost, and these illegal immigrants should have never been here in the first place. We can’t allow this to keep happening, and the first step to stop this violence is to deport every single illegal immigrant in this country.

We are a nation of immigrants, but our immigration system is completely broken and the Biden-Harris administration refuse to enforce the laws we have on the books. They have welcomed millions of illegal immigrants into our country in the last 4 years, and unfortunately, once someone gets in this country illegally, they almost never leave. That’s why shutting down the border and getting control of the flow of illegals into this country must be the day one priority next January.

We also need to reinstate the Remain in Mexico policy that Biden and Harris reversed. Many of the illegal immigrants currently in the United States are here because of this – they request asylum, are given a court date months down the road, supply immigration officials with a false address where they will be staying, and then never show up for a court date. This means they have completely slipped through the cracks and take full advantage of the Biden-Harris open border policies.

House Republicans have plans to do all of this, plus much more. Last week, I wrote again how we passed H.R. 2 already, which is the strongest border bill the House has ever passed. Thankfully, we will now have a Republican-controlled Senate and President Trump back in the White House so we can end this nonsense and begin the work to deport illegal immigrants and protect our communities.

January 20th can’t come soon enough.
